All projects have been developed from zero by the Olana team. The company also provides full Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) scope and technical-commercial asset management services throughout the asset lifecycle.

"We believe that in-house construction, integration and operation of our assets together with our trusted partners serves as our key competitive advantage as a developer, EPC and asset owner while we expand into new European markets,” says company CEO & Founder Ville Kaituri.

With construction underway, Olana is targeting commercial operation of the new batteries in 2026, strengthening its commitment to Finland’s rapidly expanding clean-energy ecosystem.

Olana Energy Oy is a Finnish IPP, developing, building, and owning utility-scale battery storage projects. In addition to the new projects, the company’s portfolio includes 25 MW of operational assets in Finland, 70 MW under construction in Lithuania and a total pipeline of over 1 GW of projects in Finland and other European markets.
