Olana Energy Oy’s pilot energy storage project in Turku, Finland, became operational in Q1/2025.
The 5 MW / 6 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) is connected to the Caruna DSO grid and is located at the farmyard of founder Ville. The project was constructed by Olana’s in-house construction team, Olana Energy Construction, with construction starting in Q3/2024. It highlights Olana’s ability for swift execution and full project delivery.
