Olana Energy Oy's energy storage project in Gunnarsnäs, located in the municipality of Parainen, Finland, reached commercial operation (COD) in Q3/2026.
The 10 MW / 10 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) is connected to the Caruna DSO grid and was constructed internally by Olana’s in-house construction team, Olana Energy Construction. The project further strengthens Olana’s presence in Southwest Finland and supports the company’s growing portfolio of grid-connected storage assets.
